Clean Up: 1 March
The Clean St Martin association will organise another clean-up on Sunday, 1 March, this time on Grandes Cayes beach in Cul de Sac. The task is physically easy, so everyone can participate, even children. The meeting time is 8:30 a.m., and the clean-up will last about three hours. It is recommended that you bring good sun protection and gloves (if necessary, they can be loaned to you) and a water bottle. As is now customary, the mission will end with a friendly break offered by the association. There is more and more litter, and it is becoming essential to strengthen the Clean St Martin team. Rugby match: 28 February
This weekend, the Archi seniors return to their Bellevue ground for the 5th day of the Guadeloupe Rugby League championship. They will host RC Goyave for a match that promises to be intense and decisive for the rest of the season. After a victory on the first day and two defeats in their last two away games, the objective is clear: get back to winning ways! The team is counting on the support of their fans. The match will take place at the Domaine de Bellevue-Montfortune pitch this Saturday, 28 February at 3.30 pm. Let's all get behind the Archiballs!
BNSSA training: 5 March
The Tous à l'Ô association, in partnership with the Civil Protection, is organising a training course for the National Water Safety and Rescue Certificate (BNSSA). This certification allows you to supervise swimming areas, respond to emergencies and provide first aid if necessary. It also allows you to become a professional in the field of water safety or to train as a lifeguard. You must be at least 17 years old when you take the exam and meet the medical requirements for admission to the training course. The entrance test will take place on Thursday 5 March at the Belair swimming pool (please bring your flippers). The training course (€600) will last three months. For further information, please call 06 90 65 96 83 (Tous à l'Ô) or 06 90 61 08 46 (Civil Protection).
