Basketball: Sisters Islands Basketball Tournament
Conceived as a sporting, educational and regional event, this international basketball tournament aims to strengthen ties between regions, promote competitive basketball among young people and provide a platform for the region’s emerging talent.
The 2026 tournament will take place on 15 and 16 May at the sports hall of the Jean-Louis Vanterpool Stadium in Marigot. Over two days, the best U18 teams from the United States, Anguilla, Tortola, Martinique, Guadeloupe, Sint Maarten and Saint Martin will take part in high-level matches, showcase events, official ceremonies and activities designed to promote youth, sport and Caribbean cooperation. With institutional support from the CEES, the Collectivité de Saint-Martin and the Caisse Territoriale des Œuvres Sociales, the SIBT represents a strategic opportunity to position Saint-Martin as a driving force for youth basketball in the Caribbean.
