Marigot seafront: remedial works underway
No sooner had they been completed than some of the seafront parking spaces were being demolished. The reason: sections of defective concrete.
As part of the redevelopment of the Marigot seafront, remedial works are currently underway. A total of seven parking spaces have been found to be defective. The Collectivité has therefore asked the contractor in charge of the project to carry out repairs on these spaces where the concrete has cracked. Remedial work is currently underway to rectify these defects. The spaces that have already been completed will open shortly, so as not to inconvenience users.
Furthermore, the Collectivité states that this work will soon be completed, marking the start of a second phase of development: a project scheduled for the summer, which will involve creating a pedestrian promenade along the seafront, up to the market square.
