The France Travail agency in Saint-Martin and the French Navy are organising ‘Cap sur l’emploi maritime’ at the Concordia Sports Hall on Thursday 21 May, from 8am to 12pm.
There are no fewer than 82 different roles across 14 areas of activity within the Royal Navy, ranging from deckhands and firemen to deck officers, accountants, cooks and fitness instructors, right through to intelligence analysts, specialist engineers and officers. These roles involve going to sea, aboard surface vessels, submarines or with the Royal Marines… though the frequency varies depending on the role. Promotions can be rapid, as they take place every two or three years. The France Travail event will highlight all the recruitment and training opportunities in maritime professions, in collaboration with the Army, the Air and Space Force, the Maritime Customs, as well as the Local Mission, the Collectivité de Saint-Martin, the CCISM and SXM Santé Travail.
