Fair for the Self-Employed and Employers
The CGSS is organising the Self-Employed and Employers’ Fair as part of Occupational Risk Prevention Week, which will take place from 20 to 24 April.
The sessions focusing on workplace risks are scheduled for the first three days of the week, with an information session on anticipating major risks taking place from 1.30 pm to 4.30 pm on Monday 20 April, followed on Tuesday at the same time by a practical workshop on the relevant regulations. Wednesday 22 April, from 8.30 am to 5 pm, will be devoted to training for managers, with a parallel session from 1.30 pm to 4.30 pm on practical steps to take in the event of an accident at work.
The exhibition for the self-employed and employers will take over on Thursday and Friday. This event, open to all, will offer a variety of sessions – conferences, practical workshops, information sessions and discussion forums – focusing on the key issues of social protection and business management. All sectors are covered, with practical content directly applicable to real-world situations.
On this occasion, all the services of the CGSS and its partners (URSSAF, CAF, etc.) will be mobilised to respond to enquiries from both businesses and insured persons. From 8.30 am to 5.30 pm on Thursday 23 April, information sessions (on the work of the Social Protection Council for Self-Employed Workers, URSSAF, etc.), masterclasses (on financial assistance, obligations and rights, social support schemes, active retirement, etc.) and a conference for employers on social security declarations and contributions will be held. Friday 24 April will be dedicated, from 9.30 am to 10.30 am, to preparing for retirement.
The event will take place at the CCISM premises (rue JJ Fayel, Concordia) and will also feature stands from all partners, allowing visitors to discuss matters, ask questions and receive personalised advice. Admission is free, but as places are limited for certain sessions, it is advisable to register in advance.
