Saint-Barthélemy: The Guanahani changes hands

Stéphane Courbit, a businessman and investor in the luxury hotel sector, has acquired the largest hotel estate in St Barth. The hotel, which is celebrating its 40th anniversary this year, will be operated from 1 November under the name ‘Airelles Le Guanahani’ and will leave the Rosewood Group on that date. This change of ownership will not affect the existing staff, who will all be retained, including the manager who has been in post for many years, but changes and investments can be expected in due course at this hotel, which comprises 66 rooms, suites and villas.
