The “BO Ti Marché” association has gone all out this year, and the public are in for a real treat – if they aren’t too scared, that is.

This Saturday, 31 October at 6 pm, the village square will be decked out in a setting that is as fantastical as it is terrifying. Indeed, bats will flutter their wings to avoid getting caught in spider’s webs, skeletons will seem to come back to life amidst the spiders and sinister pumpkins, not to mention a few ghosts from beyond the grave whose appearance will make your blood run cold instantly. Fortunately, there’ll be more cheerful activities on offer for the children, including a fun-fair.

Trick or TREAT

Cannonball toss, treasure fishing, candy-pong, not to mention sweets being handed out to children in fancy dress throughout the evening. Adults won’t be left out either, as there’ll be a competition to reward the best adult costumes (prizes donated by the market’s artisans and the restaurants taking part in the event). So all you have to do is get your costumes ready, and meet up at nightfall in Orient Bay Square, where you can then continue the evening in one of the surrounding restaurants. The BO craft market will resume from 4 November, running from Wednesday to Saturday.
