Journey Cake: a workshop to learn

The Soualiwomen Kultural Association’s cookery workshops are so popular that you need to book well in advance to be sure of a place, especially if they’re on the theme of Journey Cake! With the ladies from the association, you’ll delve into the heart of Saint Martin’s traditions, because beyond the recipe, you’ll also learn the history of this iconic Caribbean bread… and they take tradition very seriously, as the cakes are baked over a wood fire. Their next workshop will take place on Sunday 14 June at the Old House in Quartier d’Orléans, with two sessions, one at 10am and the other at 11am.
