Caribbean Baking Award: a boost for Sébastien Quillere
Sébastien Quillere certainly never ceases to make a name for himself. Following a brilliant appearance and a top-notch masterclass at the ChocoCarib’ fair, he has now been nominated for the Caribbean Baking Awards. The third edition will take place from 24 to 26 July in Saint Martin and, in the meantime, you can vote for your favourite pastry chef!
The Caribbean Baking Awards is a regional event dedicated to pastry, baking and cake design in the Caribbean. The event aims to celebrate excellence, promote the region’s pastry chefs and support the next generation of culinary talent. More than 60 nominees are in the running this year, from various Caribbean territories (Jamaica, Trinidad and Tobago, Antigua and Barbuda, etc.), and only three men! It is true that many categories are designed to recognise skills that are particularly popular with women, such as cakes, wedding cakes, cupcakes, etc. Sébastien Quillere is nominated in the categories of Best Pastry Chef, Best Chocolatier, Innovative Pastry Chef and Best Baker. The public can vote until 1 April at: www.caribbeanbakingawards.com
If we want French excellence to be recognised, let’s vote for Sébastien in all four categories in which he is nominated!
