From 14 to 21 October, the public rallied behind the Saint Martin flag: 13,610 votes were recorded on www.mysaintmartinflag.com. Even though it was possible to vote more than once, this still reflects a good level of participation.
The flag design process is therefore entering its fourth and final phase. As set out in the terms of reference, the votes will be converted into points, on a scale of 20, and added to the finalists’ scores. The jury will then meet with the three finalists who achieved the highest scores to discuss their designs. This will be followed by the administrative process and adoption by the territorial council.
The Collectivité’s press release does not reveal the voters’ preferences… so the suspense remains intact.
