Marigot Traders’ Open

From 16 April to 10 May, the Marigot Traders’ Open, organised by the Saint Martin Island Tennis Club, took place. Pierre Assier de Pompignan, the defending champion, won 6–4, 4–6, 10–7 in his match against Jean Louis Virolan, clinching the final in a decisive super tie-break. In the over-35s category, Benjamin Mekki had the last word against Benoit Vincenti, winning the final 6-1, 4-6, 10-6.  The women’s final was contested between Malika Laguerre and Monika Prince. Malika Laguerre won convincingly 6–0, 6–0 and claimed this year’s Marigot Traders’ Open in commanding fashion.

Pigeon – Pertusot: the winning duo of the 2026 Swim Run

After winning the Saint-Barth Swim Run in April, Greg Pigeon and Gabriel Pertusot triumphed once again this weekend at the 2026 edition of the Saint-Martin Swim Run. On Sunday, they completed the course between Galisbay and Coco Beach in 1:44:49, finishing ahead of Vincent Acattato and Maxime Kruszewska. In the end, it was a winning quartet for the SXM Tri Académie club.
