Skechers Pickleball Paris Open: a gold medal for the Thiant father and son

One of the biggest pickleball tournaments in Europe, featuring an extremely high international standard and players from all over the world, the “Skechers Pickleball Paris Open” took place from 22 to 24 May at the Arthur Ashe sports centre in the Paris region. This third edition saw François and Alexandre Thiant claim victory in the over-19s doubles category. A fine performance for their very first appearance in a competition in this discipline. For those unfamiliar with the sport, pickleball is similar to tennis, but is played with a solid-faced racket, shorter than a tennis racket, and a perforated plastic ball, on a smaller court.
