Half-marathon: 4th edition of the BDO
On Sunday 17 May 2026, runners and walkers from across the Caribbean are expected at the Port of Plaisance in Sint Maarten for the latest edition of the BDO Half Marathon.
Organised by the St. Maarten Road Runners association and supported by ILTT, this event is designed to be accessible to everyone, with four routes suited to every level. A 21 km race starting at 6 am, a 10 km race starting at 6.30 am, a 5 km race starting at 7 am and finally a 7 km walk called ‘Walk Around the Lagoon’ starting at 6.15 am. A range of distances that allows everyone to take part, whether for competitive reasons or simply for fun. Race entry fees range from $25 to $40. 200 participants have registered to date, whilst 200 race numbers remain available.
