David Rioual: bronze medallist in Quebec

In its first appearance at an international amateur boxing competition, the ABC Intersport club made a big impact. Young David Rioual won the bronze medal at the ‘Québec Open 2026’, a championship bringing together athletes from numerous countries and territories and organised by the Canadian Olympic Committee. In the quarter-finals, a magnificent left hook allowed him to win convincingly and secure his place in the semi-finals. Despite an incredible fight against a powerful opponent, the judges’ decision went in favour of the Quebecer… but Saint Martin is proud nonetheless of this result, which confirms David’s place among the best boxers in his weight class (70kg).
