Naïla Parotte, the new Miss Northern Islands
The race for the Miss France 2027 sash is now underway across France and in the overseas territories, where a series of pageant evenings are taking place. On Saturday 1 August, at the Aleeze Convention Hall, Naïla Parotte won the votes of both the public and the jury to be crowned Miss Saint-Martin/Saint-Barthélemy 2026.
There were eight of them dreaming of the crown and the Miss France adventure. At the end of the evening’s proceedings, held on the Dutch side, it was ultimately contestant number 8, Naïla Parotte, who was chosen to succeed Sasha Bique, Miss Saint-Martin – Saint-Barthélemy 2024, and to represent the Northern Islands at the next national pageant. She received her crown from Angélique Angarni-Filopon, Miss France 2025 and guest of honour at the event.
Born in Saint-Martin in 2004, Naïla Parotte grew up on the island, which she has never left. With a BTS in accounting and management, she now works as a manager for a car brand.
Aged 22 and standing at 1.82 metres tall, she juggles her professional career with modelling, taking part in a series of fashion shows and photo shoots. She had already tried her luck in the local competition in 2024. Two years later, that initial experience clearly paid off, as the young woman arrived more motivated and better prepared. Her perseverance paid off, as this time she managed to win over both the audience and the judging panel.
Alongside her, Darina Laurent was named first runner-up, ahead of Luna Kassa Dalmasso, the second runner-up. Vanille Bonneau and Samantha Laurent rounded off the winners’ list, taking the titles of third and fourth runners-up respectively.
For Naïla Parotte, a new adventure is beginning. In the coming months, she will have to prepare to represent Saint Martin and Saint Barthélemy on the national stage. The next event is scheduled for December, when Miss France 2027 will be crowned.
