The start of the new school year
The Local Authority wishes to inform parents that online enrolment for children starting nursery school or Year 1 for the 2026–2027 school year has been temporarily suspended due to technical issues with the IT system.
Applications must be made by downloading the forms from the website https://www.com-saint-martin.fr/. Once all the necessary documents have been gathered and the forms completed, parents must submit their application to the School Affairs Office by 22 May. Requests for transfers or new enrolments to bring siblings closer together or to be closer to home, applications from new arrivals previously educated in private schools or elsewhere, as well as requests for exemptions, will be considered on a case-by-case basis by the Education Committee and granted subject to availability. In these cases, the form can be collected from the School Affairs Department at the Collectivité annexe, the former Bord-de-mer school, Rue de la Liberté in Marigot.
