The School of Public Speaking: to help you speak freely and practise eloquence
‘The New School of Expression and the Arts of Speech’ will officially open its doors to the public this Saturday, 10 October at 6.00 pm in the youth area at the Concordia Media Centre annexe. Led by Safiyya Chance, a graduate in political science and stress management, this project aims to promote personal empowerment through spoken expression.
Whilst this initiative is primarily aimed at children and young people, it is also open to anyone wishing to overcome their inhibitions and express their individuality. The programme for this new school, along with full details of the timetable, fees and age-group slots, will be revealed exclusively during this official presentation. Pre-registration will open at the time of the launch. A needs assessment form will be provided to gauge each participant’s expectations (public speaking, exam preparation, drama, managing stress and shyness) so that they can be placed in the appropriate level group.
As places are limited within the youth section, a registration form is available online: https://form.jotform.com/262626263097058. Enquiries: 06 90 08 95 69.
