New Airbus on the Sint Maarten route
Jean-Noël Rault, regional director of Air France, at a press conference on 8 September, announced that the Airbus A350-900 would be introduced on the Saint Martin route from 1 February 2027.
The state-of-the-art aircraft will operate up to 14 flights a week to Princess Juliana Airport. Its configuration offers greater comfort and amenities (free high-speed Wi-Fi) across all three classes: Business (48 seats), Premium (32 seats) and Economy (212 seats). Furthermore, from 11 December, the airline will offer two direct flights a week between Pointe-à-Pitre (Mondays and Fridays) and Panama City (Tuesdays and Saturdays). Thanks to a partnership with Copa Airlines, 14 destinations across Central and Latin America will now be more accessible. In keeping with this aim of making more destinations accessible, Air France is adjusting the timetable for its service to Miami (Mondays and Fridays from Fort-de-France and Pointe-à-Pitre): connections will be available via Delta Airlines to Austin, Atlanta, Boston, Detroit, Los Angeles, New York, Raleigh-Durham and Seattle.
