On 16 October, the UNSA local branch in Saint-Martin officially launched the establishment of its representation in the territory. With the support of UNSA Guadeloupe, the new organisation will gradually develop its autonomy, with the aim of representing employees across all sectors of the public and private sectors. The aim is to build closer ties with employees on the territory in order to raise awareness of their issues, some of which are specific to Saint-Martin. The UNSA Saint-Martin executive committee will be formed on 12 November.
