*The Imaginary Invalid* by the theatre company Les Apatrides

20 March 2026

Following *Monsieur de Pourceaugnac*, *The Game of Love and Chance* and *A Midsummer Night’s Dream*, the Apatrides theatre company revisits yet another classic… *The Imaginary Invalid*. Directed by Audrey Duputié, the actors will bring to life, with plenty of originality and a few surprises, the characters from Molière’s final play, written in 1673. For those who may have forgotten this staple of the school curriculum, the story centres on Argan, a hypochondriac, who has set his heart on marrying his daughter to a doctor so as to have the right man on hand. Naturally, she is in love with someone else, and naturally everyone around her gets involved, right down to the maid, who will bring certain truths to light.
Performances on Friday 20 and 27 March and Saturday 21 and 28 March at 8 pm. Tickets (single price €20) on sale at the theatre Monday to Friday from 6 pm to 7 pm or at www.theatresxm.fr
