Red Cross Charity Sale

The next charity sale organised by the French Red Cross in Saint-Martin will take place on Saturday 22 August in Concordia (2 rue du Soleil Levant), from 8.30 am to 4 pm. Organised to raise funds for the most vulnerable, it enables the Saint Martin regional branch to carry out its work throughout the year.  The Saint-Martin Red Cross receives numerous donations from individuals and businesses, not all of which are distributed, as they are sometimes unsuitable for the needs of those receiving support or care. The charity sale gives a new lease of life to clothes, shoes, accessories and small household items, and helps to fund emergency relief efforts. As well as the bargains to be found there, it is also an opportunity to meet and chat with volunteers – and perhaps even decide to lend a hand by joining the Red Cross.
