On Sunday, 26 January, in Marigot, Diovany Paul, who finished eighth in the final standings, had to relinquish his crown, despite having won the previous week. It was Dutchman Stan Van Liere who won brilliantly, totalling 6 points.

The new champion scored convincing victories against the promising Dyshaun Sanderson, who finished second with 5.5 points, and against the unbeatable Yashwant Vaswani, who finished third with 5 points. Van Liere conceded only one defeat against the surprising Burton Guidarie. Among the younger players, Léon Lubrani Portefaix once again stood out, finishing fifth with 4 points, confirming once again his status as the most promising young player whenever he participates. The next tournament is scheduled for 22 February at a location to be determined in the Netherlands.
