The Carnival season was officially launched with the Culturanza parade, which set the tone with the sound of drums and the ever-touching children's parade, which brought smiles and colour to the eyes of all spectators.
This Sunday, 15 February, is the day of the eagerly awaited grand parade, which will set off from the Agrément roundabout at 12 noon and wind its way through the streets of Marigot all afternoon before arriving at the carnival village in Galisbay. But if you really want to experience the carnival and immerse yourself in this unique cultural movement, you'll need to join the "Jouvert Mawnin" the night before, from 5 a.m. to 10 a.m. on Saturday between the Agrément roundabout and the carnival village.
