An Introduction to Beekeeping

The fascinating world of bees, accessible to young and old alike… This is the new initiative offered by honey producer ‘Siwo Myel SxM’ in partnership with ‘Bee Academy SXM’. On 21 and 22 April, an introduction to beekeeping in small groups, led by an experienced beekeeper, will allow beginners to discover bees and their vital role for the planet, learn how to handle beekeeping equipment and open a hive (absolutely impressive!) and, of course, taste Saint-Martin’s honey (absolutely unique!). The adult session (€90) will take place on Tuesday 21 April from 1pm to 5pm and the children’s session (€80) on Wednesday 22 April from 8am to 11am.
