The Guadeloupe Tennis League, Saint Martin and Saint Barthélemy has achieved a historic victory with the crowning of Émeline Dartron and Mathilde Lollia at the 2026 Central American and Caribbean Games, which took place on 24 and 25 July in the Dominican Republic.
The Guadeloupean pair won the final – 6-4, 6-1 – against the Honduran pair. For the League, this victory will mark the start of a new era capable of bringing to the fore a generation of champions. A new milestone is therefore set to be reached, with better-structured pathways to excellence, the strengthening of links between local training and elite sport, whilst ensuring fairer access to facilities across the whole territory.
