Rugby: victory for the Archiballs

On Saturday 18 April, the Archiball took on the Good Luck side from Guadeloupe at their Bellevue ground as part of the Guadeloupe Senior Rugby Championship. For this eighth round of the championship, the Guadeloupeans – the reigning champions and unbeaten so far this season – were the favourites. But that was without counting on the determination of the Saint Martin senior team, ready to give their all to turn the tide, backed by an enthusiastic home crowd. Although the challenge seemed daunting, they rose to it, and the Archiball secured a narrow 28-27 victory.
