Organised by the Intergeneration Runners club, the Bell’Orientale Run is back for its 6th edition on Sunday 26 April. This year’s programme includes the village opening at 6am, a group warm-up at 6.10am, with the walking and running events starting at 6.30am. The event is open to all experienced runners, weekend warriors and keen walkers… who, depending on their level, can choose between the 5km walk, the 5km run or the 10km run on a route that starts at Baie Orientale beach, taking participants to Le Galion and then on to Quartier d’Orléans, passing through the heart of the Nature Reserve. The finish line will be at Baie Orientale and the prize-giving ceremony is scheduled to take place around 10.00 am.
Registrations are still open via IGR (€5 for the walk, €12 for the 5 km run and €17 for the 10 km run): www.intergeneration-runners.com. Information: 06 90 35 67 93.
