Boxing: Keran Landefort wins gold in Guadeloupe

Boxers from ABC Intersport took part in the La Marmite gala in Le Lamentin, Guadeloupe, on 27 June. The event brought together boxers from across the Caribbean and featured amateur and elite bouts in both English-style and French-style boxing. It was Keran Landefort’s first amateur bout; he dominated his fight from start to finish and won his first gold medal! Unfortunately, John Lake was unable to fight as his opponent withdrew. Damin Mauvais and Blondel Bijoux put in creditable performances, though they did not secure a victory, and demonstrated their great potential.
