Boardwalk Triathlon: Mélina Bruneau and Gabriel Pertusot take the win

The Boardwalk Triathlon brought together a diverse range of participants this weekend, with some taking part in their first triathlon, whilst others arrived with a wealth of competitive experience. In the Olympic triathlon event – comprising a 1,500m swim, a 40km cycle and a 10km run – victory went to Mélina Bruneau in the women’s category and to Gabriel Pertusot in the men’s category, in the under-40s age group. In the over-50s category, Jessica Pearson Outil and Jean-Marc Outil came out on top. In the junior category, Meks Teunissen took the win. The event also featured a Try-A-Tri event comprising a 300m swim, a 7km cycle and a 2.5km run, as well as a Sprint event with a 750m swim, a 20km cycle and a 5km run.
