35 riders, thrilling duels and blistering speed at Hope Estate

On Sunday 31 May, Hope Estate was buzzing with excitement for the 2026 edition of the SXM Drag Race. The event was organised by the Association Moto Action du Nord (A.M.A.N). For this 2026 edition, car demonstrations added to the spectacle on the track, and a road safety village welcomed the public and participants throughout the day on Sunday. In total, 35 riders from Saint Eustatius, Curaçao, Guadeloupe, Sint Maarten and, of course, Saint Martin, competed in head-to-head races from 7am. 

In the Maxiscooter category, the riders from Sint Maarten, Darreino Marks and Ilegio Illidge, lead the standings, followed by Romiscio Lake from Saint Martin. 

In the Maxiscooter NOS category, Darreino Marks remains in first place, with Jahmarley Connor from Sint Maarten in second and Lain Lake from Saint Martin in third. 

In the Streetbike Class B standings, Eldon Hunt and Willnick Delormaux, from Saint Martin, finished first and second, with Anfernee Hodge, from Sint Maarten, in third. 

In the Streetbike Class A category, Bruce Sun, from Saint Martin, takes the top step of the podium, Rishinelle Justiana, from Curaçao, the second, and Jean-Marc Chaville, from Guadeloupe, the third. 

Finally, in the Prostock race, D’Sean Rhoda, from Saint Eustatius, took the win, followed by Jérémy Charles, from Saint Martin, and Khalil Houtman, from Saint Eustatius.
