Local Authority Press Release: Private housing, study of the housing stock
As part of the implementation of the Local Housing Programme (PLH) 2025–2030, the Local Authority has launched a pre-operational study on private housing. This project has been entrusted to the consultancy firm Villes Vivantes. Between 6 and 19 July, a number of field surveys were carried out amongst property professionals, institutional partners, elected representatives of the Territorial Council and local residents. The information gathered will be analysed to produce an in-depth assessment of the private housing stock. The findings will help to identify priority areas, define the most appropriate support measures and prepare for the implementation of operational actions to promote housing renovation, tackle dilapidated housing and bring vacant properties back onto the market. At the same time, the establishment of the Housing and Land Observatory will provide a permanent tool for monitoring developments in the housing market, land market dynamics and household needs, with a view to adapting public policies over the long term.
