Call for projects from the Prefecture
The Prefecture of Saint Barthélemy and Saint Martin is launching two calls for projects for the year 2026: one to combat drugs and addiction and the other to raise awareness of road safety.
The MILDECA (Interministerial Mission for the Fight against Drugs and Addictive Behaviours) call for projects for 2026 aims to support local actions and initiatives promoting prevention, support and the reduction of risks and harm associated with addiction. Particular attention is paid to addictive behaviours among young people, which may involve not only the use of illicit substances, but also digital addictions. The call for projects under the Departmental Road Safety Action Plan for 2026 aims to support prevention and awareness-raising initiatives to make roads safer. Projects may focus on reducing accidents, particularly by targeting two-wheeled vehicles, risky driving (alcohol, drugs, speeding, use of mobile phones), as well as soft mobility and the safety of vulnerable users (pedestrians, cyclists). All information and documentation required to respond to these calls for projects is available on the Prefecture's website: https://www.saint-barth-saint-martin.gouv.fr/ (under the "News" tab). Grant applications for either call must be submitted by Friday 15 May 2026.
