Territorial Youth Council: new term of office
The official youth body of the Collectivité will soon be changing its term of office. All young people who wish to get involved in the life of the territory and represent the voice of youth are welcome to apply.
Created in December 2008, the CTJSM is a representative assembly of middle school, high school and young working people in the region. It allows young elected representatives to discover how the regional institution works and what it does, and to promote projects that are important to them. It aims to encourage young people to participate as citizens and get involved in local social and political life. The CTJSM is composed of 23 members elected for two years. It functions like any official body with a president, vice-presidents, committed members and committees in charge of specific topics. Together, they work on numerous projects, meet their counterparts from the Dutch side, represent young people at official events, support charitable initiatives, and launch sporting, cultural and environmental projects, among others.
To apply, you must be between 14 and 25 years old and register before 12 March. For more information, visit ctjsm@com-saint-martin.fr or call +590 590 87 50 04.
