Marigot celebrates its entrepreneurs
The Spotlight event, organised by the CCISM, will take place this Saturday, 13 June, from 10am to 10pm on Rue de la République in Marigot, bringing together around forty exhibitors for a day entirely dedicated to local craftsmanship and entrepreneurship.
Crafts, gastronomy, fashion, services and innovation: five themes to explore and shop locally. The day will feature musical performances, a fashion show, games and a grand raffle. In addition, a food area, the Food Corner, will offer a range of gourmet treats reflecting the region’s rich culinary heritage. Launched in 2021, the forum is now one of the island’s major economic events. “Every year, we are delighted to welcome back our loyal exhibitors, as well as new entrepreneurs who choose Spotlight to make a name for themselves. This diversity is a testament to the dynamism of our economic fabric,” says Stéphanie Gombs, Business Support Manager at the CCISM. Another highlight of this year’s event is the CCISM’s official opening of “La Vitrine Marigot”, a permanent shared space located at the junction of Rue Félix Éboué and Rue Victor Maurasse, where seven local businesses will set up shop to offer a vibrant range of artisanal products throughout the year.
