Permit to carry out commercial activities within the Nature Reserve

The 2026–2027 application process for obtaining annual authorisation to carry out commercial, maritime or land-based activities within the nature reserves of Saint Martin and Saint Barthélemy is now open. Applications may be submitted from now until Friday 30 October or, in a second round, from Monday 11 January to Friday 12 February 2027. The application form is available from the AGRNSM (for new applications or renewals).
Applications must be sent by email (autorisationreserves@agencedelenvironnement.fr) or submitted in person at the Reserve’s office at Hope Estate or at the ATE in Gustavia for Saint Barthélemy.
A technical committee comprising the nature reserve manager and government departments will select the applications to be authorised; authorisation is valid for one year from the date of the decision issued by the manager. The authorisation may be suspended should the manager and/or the competent authorities identify any irregularities. Any commercial activity carried out without authorisation within a nature reserve will result in administrative and/or criminal proceedings.
