Clean St Martin wins two awards

Last Saturday, the Clean St Martin association was delighted to receive a cheque for €500 from the Rotary Club Saint-Martin Nord. For the association, which works every month to keep the island clean by collecting tonnes of rubbish, this support represents much more than just financial assistance. It is a genuine mark of trust and recognition of the work carried out by the volunteers, who dedicate themselves throughout the year to protecting the environment. This contribution will enable the organisation to continue its awareness-raising campaigns and clean-up operations. As a reminder, the association provides gloves, litter pickers to aid collection and bin bags, amongst other items. This year, the association also received the René-Jean Duret Prize, an award that recognises the commitment of exemplary local organisations.
