Clean St Martin Special Mission

The Clean St Martin charity, in partnership with the AGRNSM (Association for the Management of the Saint-Martin Nature Reserve), will be organising a special clean-up operation on the south-eastern beach at Tintamarre, on Sunday 8 November. This initiative aims to preserve this natural gem and raise awareness amongst as many people as possible about protecting our environment.

To ensure the success of this initiative, several local partners have come together: Tintamarre Express, with Vanion Hodge; Wind Adventures, with Manu Demanez, to transport the volunteers; and Super U for the barbecue planned after the clean-up. The trip will set off from either the Cul-de-Sac jetty or the Anse Marcel jetty at 7.30 am. For the return journey, you can choose between 1.30 pm and 4.30 pm. Due to the slightly unusual nature of this event, a contribution of €10 will be requested for the boat crossing and €10 for the barbecue… All in all, a fun and worthwhile day at a low cost. Participants are therefore asked to register now, as places are limited. Registration by email only: contact@clean-st-martin.org.
Clean St Martin invites anyone concerned about the preservation of natural areas to join this initiative, whether or not they are members of the association. Beyond simply collecting rubbish, this day will be an opportunity to show that, together and with a little goodwill, everyone can take practical action to protect the island’s natural heritage.
