Got a project? The European Funds team is coming to you to discuss funding

On 5 and 12 November, the European funds departments of the Prefecture of Saint-Barthélemy and Saint-Martin and the Collectivité of Saint-Martin will be present alongside the CCISM to present the various funds (ERDF, ESF+, EMFF, EAFRD, Interreg Caribbean), answer any questions and assist interested applicants in putting together their applications.
There is a wide range of European funds available, aimed at everything from an SME wishing to invest in its business to a guest house seeking to renovate and modernise its facilities, or even a young fisherman looking to set up in business. This also covers investments by fishermen in on-board safety or the energy efficiency of vessels, community projects, investments in agricultural holdings, and many other examples besides.
To make European funds more accessible and easier to understand for project leaders who are unfamiliar with them or are hesitant to apply, two after-work events will be held on 5 and 12 November in Quartier d’Orléans and Colombier. The networking event on Thursday 5 November will take place from 6 pm to 8 pm in the multi-purpose hall at Quartier d’Orléans, situated in the heart of the Les Palmeraies housing estate. The after-work event on Thursday 12 November will take place from 6 pm to 8 pm at the Nature Valley association’s socio-cultural centre in Colombier (the white caravan on Rue Colombier). Anyone interested is welcome to come along to chat and enjoy the occasion.
