The return of the Culture Pass
Good news for students: the Pass Culture scheme is back, as it is at Robert Weinum High School. This government initiative offers young people privileged access to culture, with individual and collective credits to be used throughout their schooling.
The Culture Pass offers two complementary benefits to students. First, an individual allowance that increases with age (€20 at age 15, €30 at ages 16 and 17, then €300 at age 18, totalling €380) that they can spend freely via the app. Secondly, a collective allowance (€120 in total from Year 9 to Year 13) funds cultural outings and projects organised by the school. Thanks to this scheme, young people have access to a wide range of activities: live shows, cinema, concerts, festivals, dance or music lessons, books, instruments, museum visits and artistic encounters. To activate their Passes, students must download the Culture Pass app and create an account using their ÉduConnect login details.
These are provided by the school, usually at the beginning of the school year. Once the account is activated, the credit is immediately available.
