Roland Richardson’s latest book, *The Last Frontier: Sir Roland Richardson’s Quartier d’Orléans*, features 26 of the artist’s paintings and engravings, along with some of his memories of the time he lived in the neighbourhood. The text, drawn from interviews with Roland Richardson himself, reveals a Quartier d’Orléans where traditions still thrived on an island undergoing rapid change. The author also shares an insight into his artistic approach.
Published by the association Les Fruits de Mer with the support of the Fonds pour le développement de la vie associative (FDVA), the book will be distributed free of charge this Saturday, 28 March, from 9am to 12pm, at the Amuseum Naturalis (The Old House on the road to Quartier d’Orléans).
