Yashwant Vaswani wins the SXM Chess Club tournament

On Sunday 24 May, the SXM Chess Club organised its third rapid tournament, sanctioned by the French Chess Federation. Twenty players aged between 8 and 74 competed throughout the day. Yashwant Vaswani, aged 66, won the competition, followed by Arthur Filippigh and Eric Volard. The top-ranked child, Léon Lubrani Portefaix, finished in 4th place. The players were rewarded with trophies, medals and chess books.
