Call for proposals: ‘Summer Neighbourhoods’

Par La rédaction
14 April 2026

Launched by the government in 2020, this initiative aims to provide activities in July and August for residents of neighbourhoods identified as priorities under the urban policy. Funded by central government grants, it is also being supported this year for the first time by the local authority through its dedicated urban policy budget.

Not all the guidelines have been finalised yet, but they are expected to build on the ambitions of previous years, which aim to make the summer a time for relaxation, entertainment and discovery, as well as a time for socialising and strengthening community ties. Priority will be given to: intergenerational and family-focused initiatives, those promoting the values of the Republic and citizenship, those encouraging diversity among participants and promoting gender equality, those raising awareness of the ecological transition, and finally initiatives aimed at teaching swimming and cycling, with the aim of achieving ‘Safe Swimming’ and ‘Safe Cycling’ certification ’.
Priority will be given to inter-neighbourhood meetings and activities, as well as evening and weekend events for the Sandy-Ground, Saint-James and Quartier d’Orléans neighbourhoods. Information: https://www.saint-barth-saint-martin.gouv.fr/ Grant
applications must be submitted via the Dauphin platform, accompanied by all required documents (https://usager-dauphin.anct.gouv.fr/), by 30 April 2026.
