World Chaîne Day : bailliage de St. Maarten - Chaîne des Rotisseurs

World Chaîne Day will be celebrated across the world on April 22. Chaîne des Rotisseurs is an international association of gastronomy.

The World Chaîne Day (WCD) is a global Chaîne event that brings together member countries and Bailliages.
The purpose of the WCD is to highlight the superior know-how, skills and usage of high-quality ingredients of Chaîne restaurants as well as inspire dining out in general. Additionally, the aim of the WCD is to increase awareness of the Chaîne des Rôtisseurs itself.
World Chaîne Day has a significant role in the mission of the Chaîne to develop the food, beverage and restaurant culture of member countries and Bailliages in cooperation with professionals, amateur food enthusiasts, members, and Chaîne restaurants as well as other interested partners.
National and local Bailliages have a key role by arranging dining events and/or other culinary activities for members and on occasion guests. . These events are generally for members only, but activities can also be open for members and their guests.
In practice WCD activities will take place or have a close connection with Chaîne restaurants, hotels, culinary schools, cruise lines or other partners; on St. Martin the Bailliage is host an event at Bacchus for members and guests only.
Even if members are not able to join in the culinary event their Bailliage has planned every member in every Bailliages can participate by sending greetings and postings for sharing. Social media plays an essential role in the WCD by enabling easy, realtime connections. So members can participate during the WCD’s 24 hours.
